Membership fees for 20010/11 season

 

The membership fee for the coming season continues to cover the cost of midweek training and weekend league or cup matches. Players are invited to buy their own HUYFC shirt (complete with their name on) shorts and socks, via the club.

From the fees you pay, the club covers the cost of all of the football equipment and facilities such as pitch hire, pitch maintenance, referees’ fees, balls, bibs, goals, as well as the cost of registering teams and players with the Football Association and the North East Hampshire Youth League (NEHYL) and courses for our coaches, among many other costs. No payments are made for coaching. The cost of training volunteer coaches and referees to enable us to become 'Charter Marked' (ensuring a baseline standard in working with children throughout the club) is also included within your membership fees. All coaches are CRB checked.

NB: For U9 upwards, registering after deadline and later months includes a £5 NEHYL late registration fee.

 

Methods of payment, and timing:

 

To make sure that parents aren't inconvenienced and that football remains affordable, we are adopting a range of patterns of payment to make sure we can cater for everybody's needs.

They are as follows:

We prefer a single cheque paid at the beginning of the year.
We do offer alternatives though, but these must be in place at the start of the season (or immediately when joining if you’re new to the club).

 

Under 7,8: Options

• Single cheque for £80 preferred, or

• Initial payment (cheque or cash, cheque preferred) dated 1 September 2008 for £50 together with a post-dated cheque (dated 31 Jan 2009) for £30; or

• standing order for regular amount – further details on request to the club treasurer.

Under 9,10: Options

• Single cheque for £110 preferred, or
• Initial payment (cheque or cash, cheque preferred) dated 1 September 2008 for £65 together with a post-dated cheque (dated 31 Jan 2009) for £45; or
• standing order for regular amount – further details on request to the club treasurer.

Under 11 and above:

• Single cheque for £115 preferred, or
• Initial payment (cheque or cash, cheque preferred) dated 1 September 2008 for £70 together with a post-dated cheque (dated 31 Jan 2009) for £45; or
• standing order for regular amount – further details on request to the club treasurer.
  

Other important points

• No match day fees in any age group.
  
• An optional 'training only' membership is available; details are available from a club officer.
  
• Financial hardship: the club would not wish to see any child miss out on playing football at HUYFC due to genuine financial hardship. If there is a problem please let us know, in confidence, and we will do our best to find a workable solution with you. Speak to your team manager or the club treasurer.
